Tournament of the Tower: A Buhurt International Classic Melee Tournament. 8 men's teams and 5 women's teams will compete in round robin competition at the Hampton Roads Winery during their Reneissance Festival. FACILITIES
The Hampton Roads Winery is an outdoor venue with some indoor air conditioned facilities as well as restrooms. The venue will be providing porta jons and acess to "dry camping" on site at no cost. More information can be obtained for accomodations by contacting the event host at least 3 weeks before the event date. Registration requirements
A $250 deposit is required of each team upon registration. This deposit shall be returned in full if the the team a) completes at least one round of melees at the tournament, or b) withdraws from the event before October 2 2024 and notifies the event coordinator immediately of their desire to withdraw. All competitors and staff will be required to purchase an event ticket for the day. Price: $10, available at the Hampton Roads Winery shop online, or at the door. Evidence of proof of purchase will be required at event registration table.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: WE ARE WAIVING THE $250 DEPOSIT FOR ALL WOMENS REGISTRANTS IN ORDER TO ENCOURAGE MORE PARTICIPATION
IMPORTANT UPDATE: WE ARE INCREASING THE MEN'S SLOTS TO A MAX OF 8 MENS 5'S TEAMS DUE TO INTEREST

At the tournament you will be required to register at the host, every "valid" member has a QR code on there "fighter profile" only they can access it
Every person on a team can sign up the team for the event. If there is a requirement for the registration, it's the team's responsibility to make sure these are met!
