The ‘West Australian Berserkers’ are a armoured combat team whose sole purpose is to provide capable, dedicated, well equipped fighters, male and female, for the national team of Australia to compete at Tournaments such as the IMCF and the HMBIA world championship, ‘Battle of the Nations’, from Western Australia. Led by experienced fighters, who need to have participated in the BOTN in order to be part of the council, fighters are initiated, trained, supported and guided, in order to prepare them for potential selection for the national team, Understanding that there is no guarantee of selection, and that the personal abilities, equipment level, and ability to attend the international events of the aspirant are the only deciding factor. Even veterans have no right to be on the national team, and must try out as decided by the national team guidelines The Berserkers are proud members and supporters of the Australian Medieval Combat federation
