Dear Buhurt International Community,
Since the inception of our authenticity checks, any fighter who failed was issued a yellow card. With the new authenticity rules document now available online, we would like to clarify how these cards will be issued moving forward.
From now on, any violation of authenticity rules will result in a green card instead of a yellow card. A fighter who fails the authenticity check will receive a green card but will still be allowed to participate in tournaments.
A green card itself will not have any direct impact on the fighter; it serves as an acknowledgment that the armor does not comply with the rules. However, if a fighter receives a yellow card from the marshals, the green card will combine with the yellow card and result in a red card.
This change will significantly impact Buhurt regulation 5.4 regarding team disqualification. According to rule 5.4.2, green cards will not be counted for team disqualification.
The rules documents will be updated accordingly.

Since the authenticity rules were published in late 2024, the Authenticity Committee has decided to lower the requirements for Conference tournaments during the 2025 season. These events will follow the Regional requirements for rule infraction classification.
With this approach, we hope fighters attending Conference events will feel less stressed about their armor while keeping in mind that future rules will be applied as voted by national representatives at the 2024 Summit.
For all fighters who have already registered for a tournament (e.g., Carnage), you may have undergone an online authenticity check. We would like to remind you that you can send us feedback via email or the forum. Your feedback is a key element in helping us evolve and grow in the best way possible.
On a positive note, we are pleased to announce that the Authenticity Committee is now working with an accreditation system to certify its members. Just like marshals, authenticity members can now take online tests, and upon successful completion, they will be granted the rank they deserve.
Following the first online session on January 13th 2025, we are happy to announce the first official authenticity regional officers:
Thomas Holtmann
Roland Goëbel
Danny George
If you are interested in becoming involved with the Authenticity Committee, feel free to email us, and we will be happy to welcome you onboard.
Best regards, Authenticity Committee
